Hi! My name is Julia.

I am a photographer who grew up on a farm in Smithfield VA. I then moved to France  after graduating from college to  teach English.  Hints the little French you will find woven into my business name and website. During my time in France, I fell in love with the country, but also with capturing all the beauty I saw there.  That is how Rêverie photography was born.  Voilà. I am excited to capture your precious moments.

 Knowing firsthand how special these moment are, and how nervous you may feel, my mission is to make you comfortable and be true to yourself.  I want to help you create your vision for a photoshoot.  I can direct and plan your shoot for you if that is what you would like or if you have ideas and you want me to help you bring them to life through photography, I am excited to do that as well.  My first priority is helping you get the photos of your dreams!
